School & Library Visits

I’d love to visit your school, library, or organization to share the joy of picture books and the process of making them! As a children’s book author and illustrator, I’ve had the pleasure of presenting at children’s museums, bookstores, hospitals, classrooms (Pre-K through college), and to adult audiences interested in the world of picture books.

IN-PERSON VISITS

In-person visits are available in the NYC metro area (all five boroughs) for half-day or full-day sessions.

Outside of NYC? No problem! I’m happy to travel—just reach out for more information.

Each session is tailored to the age and size of the group, typically running 40–50 minutes and may include:

• A book read-aloud

• Live drawing

• Q&A with students

• A hands-on craft activity or creative workshop

Half-day visits include up to three sessions, and full-day visits include up to six, depending on the schedule.

Some popular past activities include:

• Collage projects using natural materials

• Soak sponge painting technique

• Character design for students’ own story ideas

VIRTUAL VISITS

Virtual sessions are a fun and flexible option! These typically include:

• A 45–50 minute live or pre-recorded read-aloud

• A pre-recorded activity related to the book

• A live Q&A

WORKSHOPS & CONFERENCES FOR ADULTS

Available in-person or virtually, these sessions are perfect for adult learners, college students, or aspiring authors and illustrators. Presentations include:

• A slideshow of my illustration and publishing work

• A brief history of my art-related career path

• Time for questions and discussion
